The Integration Office (IO) of the FDFA and the Federal Department of Economic Affairs (FDEA) deals with all aspects of relations between Switzerland and the European Union (EU). It produces a range of relevant publications.

With the enlargement contribution, Switzerland helps to reduce economic and social disparities within the enlarged European Union. Support is given to the twelve states that have joined the EU since 2004.
