Legal Affairs

A range of special tasks are entrusted to the legal counsellor. These responsibilities include, among others:

• following the institutional and legal developments in the United Kingdom
• dealing with cases involving treaties and other sources of international law
• observing human rights issues, and
• generally supporting the Embassy in giving advice in legal affairs.

The legal counsellor handles information requests regarding UK or Swiss legal issues.
