The Section for Consular Affairs is the contact point for any suggestions or complaints you may have concerning the administrative aspects of the Consular Services of our missions abroad. Consular Services are responsible for the following areas:

• Issuing visas
• Transmission of foreign civil status documents
• Issuing I.D. papers (Swiss passports and I.D. cards)
• Registration
• Authentications, confirmations, and certifications
• Questions concerning citizenship
• Lost and found property
• Deposited documents and valuables
• Fee collection
